Night of the Living Dead Weekend in Evans City
EVANS CITY (KDKA)-It was the location of the filming of "Night of the Living Dead," and now Evans City will mark its place in movie history.
The classic horror film was shot in Evans City back in 1969.
On Friday, a marker citing the fact the movie was filmed in Evans City will be unveiled at the library. The big celebration happens at 4:00 p.m.
Friday also marks the start of "Living Dead Weekend" in Evans City, as well as 'Halloweekends."
