NFL's Clear Bag Policy In Effect For Sunday's Pre-Season Game

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Sunday's pre-season game against the Green Bay Packers is the first at Heinz Field this season, and the Steelers are asking fans to leave their bags at home.

The NFL Bag Policy allows only certain styles and sizes.

Bags must be clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and not exceed 12" x 6" x 12."

One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags are permitted.

For women, small clutch purses, about the size of a hand, may be carried along with one of the clear bag options.

Exceptions will be made for medically necessary items.
