Newsradio 1020 KDKA Editorial: Pennsylvania's Biggest Problems

A recent Franklin and Marshall College poll makes it pretty darn clear Pennsylvania voters are disgusted.

Two thirds of those surveyed say the state is on the wrong track. Poll director Terry Madonna says he hasn't seen numbers like that since the mid-1990s. And nearly half of those surveyed say the government and politicians are Pennsylvania's biggest problems.

Concerns about education, taxes, personal finances, or the economy barely register in comparison. Madonna says it's all about the budget – or the lack of one.

The Governor and Republican legislative leaders apparently still need some convincing that it's way past time to get their collective act together.

They should just look at the numbers.
