New Waiting List for Section 8 Housing
PITTSBURGH- The Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh, whose waiting list for Section 8 vouchers had been cleared and closed since 2010, has started a new one, an open lottery for the housing choice voucher program. It will take up to 5,000 applicants.
The application period begins at 8 a.m. today and closes at 11:59 p.m. May 11.
The applications will be taken only at www.hacp.org.
