They remained on the scene until well into the evening hours.

It's not clear exactly what was found inside, but a sign posted to the front door says illegal drugs or hazardous materials were seized from the home.

Neighbors were shocked to learn what allegedly was going on right next to their homes.

"They came over and they said that they had a meth lab right next door, this whole time and I never knew," said neighbor Nicole Williamson. "I'm glad they're gone though."

Williamson, who has lived in the neighborhood since April, said she didn't know the names of the couple next door, but she would say hello to them from time to time. After the discovery, she said she was concerned for her own family's well-being.

"I told my kids, like get out the house," she said. "I told my kids get out the house because if it blows up, you know, we'll get a new house, but I don't want you all to get hurt."

Officials are not yet releasing many details, including whether they made any arrests, but the investigation is continuing.
