New Castle Police K-9 Frankie Gets New Body Armor

NEW CASTLE (KDKA) -- New Castle Police Department's K9 Frankie is getting new body armor.

The department says a stab-proof vest was donated by Vested Interests In K9s, a non-profit group that supports first responder animals across the country.

Since 2009, the group has donated more than 43,000 vests to police dogs.
