Family Of Four And Their Dog Able To Safely Escape New Castle House Fire With The Help Of A Neighbor

NEW CASTLE, Pa. (KDKA) -- No one was injured in an overnight house fire in New Castle.

This happened early Sunday morning on East Laurel Boulevard.

KDKA crews spoke with one of the people inside.

They say a combination of the smoke and a neighbor pounding on their door alerted them to the fire.

The family of four and their dog were able to escape.

There is no word at this time of what caused the fire.
