Nemacolin Resort's White Lion Dies

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Nemacolin Woodlands Resort lost an important figure this week.

Sunday the resort announced it was saddened by the death of its lion, Prince.

Prince was a 5-year-old white lion. This past week he underwent a routine medical procedure to treat an ear infection, officials at the resort say.

The next day he reportedly suffered a seizure, caused by the anesthesia and later died.
