Washington DC's National Cherry Blossom Festival Goes Virtual This Spring

WASHINGTON DC (KDKA) -- It's a sign that spring is here!

The cherry blossom bloom in Washington DC is underway.

The National Park Service says visitors should still follow social distancing guidelines if you plan to check out the blooming in person.

They also encourage people to watch from home.
