Officials say the owner of the cows has not yet been identified.

However, they are asking people in the area who own Aberdeen Angus cattle to do a headcount to see if any are missing.

Meanwhile, the Westmoreland County Animal Response Team is now setting up a feed station in hopes of capturing the roaming animals.

They are asking anyone with information on the owners to give them a call at 724-327-2100 ext. 200, or dial 911.
