Multiple Fines Announced Stemming From Steelers-Ravens

PITTSBURGH (93-7 The FAN) - It should come as no surprise that there are fines coming out of the latest Steelers-Ravens matchup.

The play everyone was expecting a large fine for was the Terrell Suggs late hit on running back LeGarrette Blount, and according to Pro Football Talk, that hit only got Suggs a $8,268 fine for unnecessary roughness, striking an opponent late whose forward progress had been stopped.

Linebacker Courtney Upshaw was also fined, getting hit with a $16,537 fine for illegal use of the helmet on a defenseless player after hitting Ben Roethlisberger in the stomach with his helmet, according to Pro Football Talk.
