Mudslide Closes McArdle Roadway

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Part of McArdle Roadway is closed after a mudslide.

The Pittsburgh Department of Public works will clean up the section of the road between the Liberty Tunnels and Grandview Avenue.

Workers blocked off the road around 8:30 a.m. and officials say they plan to have it reopened by 2 p.m. Friday.

Officials say last night's heavy rain caused mud to spill onto the road.
