Mt. Lebanon Woman Amy Maldonado Accused Of Neglecting 76-Year-Old Mother, Punching Police Officer

MT. LEBANON (KDKA) -- A woman is accused of neglecting her elderly mother in Mt. Lebanon.

Police say Amy Maldonado was supposed to be caring for her 76-year-old mother.

But officers allege they spotted the woman face down on the floor of the family's house on Dan Drive yesterday.

Police say the house also smelled of human waste.

The mother was taken to the hospital.

Maldonado was arrested after she allegedly punched an officer who tried to get into the house.
