Motorcyclists Pay Tribute To Boy, 2, Recovering From Liver Transplant

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - A special tribute was made to a little boy whose story has inspired hundreds of people.

Lucas Goeller, 2, is recovering at Children's Hospital following a life-saving liver transplant.

His road to recovery hasn't been easy. Just recently, his body started to reject the transplant.

Last night, a group of motorcyclists decided to do something to make Lucas smile.

They rode from Monroeville to Children's Hospital to deliver toys to Lucas and other sick kids.

"We're all inspired by him. He's an amazing little kid, his will to live is inspiring to everyone. We wanted to pay a little tribute to brighten his spirits," organizer Ed Atwood said.

"It just brings tears to my eyes the support, it's just amazing," Lucas' mother, Jessica, said.

Jessica said Lucas has been moved out of the ICU to the seventh floor and was able to watch the motorcycles.
