1 Man Killed In O'Hara Twp. Motorcycle Crash

O'HARA TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- One man was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night in O'Hara Township.

According to police, the accident happened around 8:30 p.m. along Route 28.

George Williams, 65, of Sewickley, was traveling south and lost control near the Blawnox exit. The motorcycle slid through the grass median and Williams was thrown from the vehicle.

Williams was transported to UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash shut down the southbound lanes of Route 28 for much of the night.
