Morning Snow Falls Across Western Pa.
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- As snow and winter-like weather moved into the Pittsburgh area, flakes began to accumulate on grassy areas.
KDKA's Briana Smith hit the roads in the Mobile Weather Lab to keep an eye on changing conditions. From Allegheny to Beaver counties, drivers traveled through a steady snowfall early Wednesday morning.
In Beaver County, roadways were wet but snow wasn't sticking. Snow was accumulating on grassy areas, however.

It's starting to stick on the grass, but will it be enough for a snowman?!☃️????
The roadways are a different story — wet and slippery. Take your time this morning, and bundle up!@KDKA pic.twitter.com/XDnubofJS1
It was an unwanted surprise for Hopewell resident Scott Brady.
"This is crazy for the middle to end of April," Brady said.
Brady started his day by clearing the snow off neighborhood cars.
"I live over here so I cleaned off our cars and my daughter lives down here so, yeah this is crazy. We were golfing on Saturday," said Brady.
While Brady wants to leave winter in the past, Ian Sky from Ambridge is soaking in all of the snowflakes.
"I love it. I think it's fantastic. Everybody's complaining about it, but I get a laugh at that. I'm just digging it. Plus the mountain looks fantastic," said Sky.
Both say they have plans for when it all melts away.
"Probably just get back to hiking. A little bit better weather. Getting outdoors," said Sky.
"I'm looking forward to spring, not so much summer because it gets so humid, but I'm tired of this," said Brady.
Flakes were flying downtown as well.
