More Than 50,000 Pounds Of Chicken Soup Recalled

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – With many people getting sick this winter, you may want to think twice before reaching for some chicken soup.

Tens of thousands of containers of Healthy Choice chicken soup is being recalled.

ConAgra Foods, based in Milton, Pa., says more than 54,000 pounds of its "Chicken with Rice" don't indicate that it contains wheat and egg – two known allergens.

The company says the affected products come in 14-ounce, microwavable bowls, with the establishment number "P-770." They also have "best by" dates of "JUN092015" on the bottom.

These particular bowls are available nationwide – as well as in the Dominican Republic, Jamaica and Puerto Rico, the company says.
