Shots Fired Call Leads To Monaca Standoff

MONACA (KDKA) – A shots fired call led to a brief standoff situation in Beaver County Monday morning.

According to emergency dispatchers, police were initially called for a report of shots being fired in Monaca.

A standoff began around 6:30 a.m. when police were looking for a suspect in the 1200 block of Chestnut Street. It ended shortly before 8 a.m., but no one was arrested.

At this time, it does not appear as if anyone was shot.
