Monaca Police Warning The Public Of Scams Targeting The Elderly

MONACA (KDKA) -- With scams rising amid the Coronavirus pandemic, the Monaca Police Department is reminding people that the elderly are typically targeted by scammers.

They are reminding the public to never let your guard down so that you or someone you love don't fall for one of these scams.

Data from the Better Business Bureau shows that among people who have reported a scam since March, 66% of them have lost money.
