Millvale Homes, Businesses Without Water 12-Inch Main Breaks

MILLVALE (KDKA) – Crews are on the scene of a water main break that left several homes and businesses without water.

It happened in Millvale, near the Grant Bar on Grant Street.

A 12-inch water main broke overnight, leaving five businesses and five homes without water.

Emergency responders were going door-to-door overnight, worried that the water was flooding homes.

A contractor is expected later in the morning to fix the break. However, commuters are advised to avoid the area.
