PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – Unless you made a recent trip to Massachusetts, chances are you didn't win the $758.7 million Powerball jackpot.

However, don't throw your tickets away because there were several $1 million winners in Pennsylvania.

The winning numbers were 6, 7, 16, 23 and 26, and the Powerball number was 4.

Of the four tickets sold in Pennsylvania that matched all five white balls, one was sold at the Marathon gas station in Tarentum.

The other locations were:

  • 7-Eleven, 1483 W. Street Road, Warminster, Bucks County;
  • Darrenkamp's Market, 945 E. Main St., Mount Joy, Lancaster County
  • Weis Markets, 365 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., Allentown, Lehigh County

It's been far from a normal day at the Marathon gas station in the heart of Tarentum.

"It's exciting, yeah. It's been crazy today," says manager Linda Daniels. Daniels says the regulars are flooding in. "Most of 'em are asking us who won, but we don't know."

A single $1 million ticket matching all five of the white balls from the Powerball drawing was sold at the station. Peter Martin came in with high hopes for his two tickets.

"You always wish one of those tickets was a winner. But not this time," he said. "Better luck next time."

While it wasn't the $758.7 million winning ticket sold in Massachusetts, a $1 million winner by anybody's standards is big stuff. Especially if it was sold so close to home.

John Zelazowski says everybody has lottery dreams.

"Wow, that's awesome," he said. But when asked if his ticket was the winner, he said, "No sir, I wish it was."

Joan Kowalski won $4 on her ticket but was thrilled to hear about the $1 million winner.

"Well, that's good to hear someone in our area," she said. "Yay!"

For the regulars like Lance Gilligan, who buys tickets here but for whatever reason didn't this time around, it was an opportunity missed.

"It's pretty sickening when you think about it," he said. "Coulda, shoulda, woulda."

Gary Spence just hung his head when he heard about the $1 million ticket.

"I started to buy some the other day when I was here and I didn't," he said. "I bought 'em back in Ohio. Man, I wish it would have been me."

Bill Schott looks at it this way: Tarentum isn't that big.

"Hopefully I know them and can borrow a couple bucks off them," he said.

There were also four $200,000 winning tickets sold in Pennsylvania. One of those was sold at the GetGo in Allison Park.

The other locations were:

  • Martin General Stores, 3218 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, Blair County;
  • Giant Food Store, 50 Briar Creek Plaza, Berwick, Columbia County
  • Weis Markets, 339 W. Walnut St., Shamokin, Northumberland County
