Customer Kevin Cornell goes to Mia Pizza a couple times a week.

"Great lunch specials. Super cool people. When I heard what happened I was definitely concerned," says Cornell.

According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, two employees told investigators that they were confronted inside the store by two men wearing hoods and masks.

The men pointed guns at the employees and demanded they open the register.

Police say one of the suspects grabbed the cash tray out of the register. They then demanded to see the business's safe; however, the suspects did not know how to open it.

The suspects got away in an older-model SUV with hundreds of dollars from the register.

Now that the store is out of some money, Cornell wants to help.

"I told him I'd order lunch for him today to kind of pay it back so hopefully that helps," said Cornell.

The manager of Pizza Mia said the store has never been robbed before.

The robbery remains under investigation by Pittsburgh Police.
