1 In Custody After Marshall-Shadeland Shooting

MARSHALL-SHADELAND (KDKA) - One man has been taken into custody after a shooting in Pittsburgh's Marshall-Shadeland neighborhood.

According to police, the incident happened in the 2400 block of Colorado Street around 5 a.m.

When emergency responders arrived at the scene, they found a 25-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his lower extremities.

He was taken to Allegheny General Hospital, where he was last listed in stable condition.

Meanwhile, police arrested Brett Thomas Beecher, 41, in connection with the shooting.

Beecher is believed to be friends with the victim. Both were in Beecher's living room when the shooting happened.

It's unclear what led to the shooting at this time.

Beecher is facing a list of charges including, attempted homicide, aggravated assault, recklessly endangering another person and firearms violations.
