Market District Issues Recall For Sunflower Seeds Over Listeria Concerns

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Sunflower seeds are being recalled.

There's concern about a possible listeria contamination.

The seeds were sold in the bulk section of four Giant Eagle Market District stores - The Waterworks, Pine Township, Shadyside and South Hills Village locations.

They were sold in bulk bins between February 15 and May 3, and were in pre-packaged containers with "sell by" dates of Aug. 1 through Aug. 19.
