Mark Hamill To Guest Star On 'The Flash'

(KBCW) - Star Wars' icon Mark Hamill has been approached to reprise his role from the original CBS' Flash series as "The Trickster." Hamill will reunite with John Wesley Shipp who played The Flash in the early '90s.

Hamill's character James Jesse will be slightly different from his previous over-the-top character. According to HitFlix, Hamill's character is "an anarchist terrorist con man serving a life sentence in Iron Heights who helps Barry and Det. West to foil the city-wide attacks of a wannabe Trickster eagerly following in the original's deadly footsteps."

"Having Mark reprise his role as The Trickster was on our original wish list when we were planning our version of The Flash. " Executive Producer Andrew Kreisberg said. Christmas and Chanukah came early for us this year when he said yes! We are beyond humbled and excited to have him joining us for another round of deadly trickery!"

This will give Star Wars' fans an idea of how Hamill's "Luke Skywalker" may turn out in the upcoming seventh episode of the Star Wars' saga "The Force Awakens" due out in December 2015.

Keep an eye out for Hamill's episode on The Flash when it will air in 2015. It will be the 17th episode.
