Man Wanted For Robbing Coraopolis Bank At Gunpoint

CORAOPOLIS (KDKA) - Allegheny County Police and the Federal Bureau of Investigation are trying to track down a man accused of robbing a Coraopolis bank at gunpoint.

Police said it happened around noon Friday, at The WesBanco bank on Fifth Avenue.

According to reports, a thin white, biracial or light-skinned black man standing around 6' tall walked in with a handgun, and pointed it at two different tellers, demanding money.

The suspect was wearing white gloves, a gray hooded sweatshirt covered by a black Pittsburgh Steelers' #43 Polamalu jersey, a black mask which covered the lower half of his face, black pants and a black backpack that was used to transport the money.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the robbery is asked to call Allegheny County Police at 412-473-3000 or the FBI Pittsburgh Field Office at 412-432-4000.
