Man Wanted For 2012 Shooting Captured In Atlanta

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A fugitive from Aliquippa on the lam for two years was captured in Atlanta.

Police say 35-year-old Michael Nashae Kimbrough was wanted for a 2012 shooting.

He allegedly shot Robert Lois Smith, III, after police say he mistakenly thought he had robbed him.

Smith later lost his leg from the injury.

Kimbrough was on the state's 10 most wanted fugitives list.

Although he's from Aliquippa, police say he had lived in Humble, Texas and was eventually traced to Atlanta, Ga.

Police say he was arrested without incident.

Kimbrough is currently in the DeKalb County Jail on $250,000 bail.
