Man found stabbed to death in Pittsburgh; 2 teens charged

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A man was found stabbed to death in Pittsburgh's Elliott neighborhood on March 21.

Pittsburgh police said detectives were called to Steuben Street for reports of a man found unresponsive outside a vacant home. 

Detectives found the 37-year-old man near the front of the house down some steps that weren't visible from the street. He had multiple stab wounds and was pronounced dead by medics, police said. 

The mobile crime unit processed evidence at the scene. 

On March 22, detectives took 19-year-old Dominic Johnson into custody and charged him with criminal homicide and tampering with evidence. He was taken to the Allegheny County Jail. 

On May 9, Pittsburgh Police Safety said 18-year-old Carlena Wells was arrested in connection with the stabbing. She faces criminal homicide and criminal conspiracy charges. She was taken to the Allegheny County Jail.

The investigation is ongoing.
