Man Sought After Stealing Donation Jar From Convenience Store

UNIONTOWN (KDKA) – Police in Fayette County are investigating after a man stole a donation jar from a convenience store early Friday morning.

According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the donation jar was stolen from the A-Plus Mini Mart on Morgantown Street in Uniontown just after midnight.

The donation jar was set up to benefit the Fayette Friends of Animals, but it us unclear how much money was stolen.

Two people of interest have been identified, but no arrests have been made at this time.

The suspect was described as being a white male wearing a hat and red jacket.
