Man Shot In Perry South

PERRY SOUTH (KDKA) -- Police are investigating after a man was shot in Perry South late Saturday night.

The shooting happened just after 11 p.m. in the 2400-block of Hazelton Street.

Officers were sent to the scene for a report that a man had been shot. Police say the 45-year-old victim ran after being shot and was found at the intersection of Osgood and E. Burgess streets.

Police believe the victim was taking things out of his vehicle when he was shot multiple times by an unidentified suspect. The victim was sent to Allegheny General Hospital in serious condition.

The gunfire also hit an unoccupied vehicle and a house. There were no other injuries.
