Suspect charged in Butler shooting

BUTLER, Pa. (KDKA) - An arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting in Butler. 

Police said a neighbor told officers there was yelling and then a single shot fired on West New Castle Street around 2:30 a.m. on Feb. 5. 

Officers found the 43-year-old shot once through the shoulder. Police said he was taken to a Pittsburgh trauma center in stable condition with a non-life-threatening injury. 

An arrest warrant was issued for 27-year-old Michael Collins III from Youngstown. He's facing multiple charges, including criminal attempt homicide, burglary and aggravated assault.
