Man Shot And Killed In New Castle

NEW CASTLE (KDKA) - Police are investigating the shooting death of a 26-year-old man in New Castle.
According to police, Thursday night around 8:00 p.m. Eiram Santiago-Hernandez was shot near Pin Oak Drive in the Oak Leaf Gardens Housing Complex.
Officers noticed family taking the man to the hospital and provided an escort to UPMC Jameson.
Santiago-Hernandez died of his wounds.
A suspect or motive has not yet been made available as police investigate.
