Man Sentenced In Drug Bust Involving 3,400 Stamp Bags Of Heroin

DONORA (KDKA) -- A man will spend three to six years in prison after police found drugs inside a Donora home.

Joseph Drayton, 25, pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to deliver heroin and cocaine.

The charges stemmed from a drug bust that took place in October, 2014. Officers went to the home on Thompson Avenue looking for a parole violator.

While searching the home, police found three men in the basement smoking marijuana. In the same room, they found 3,403 stamp bags of heroin, cocaine and $3,884 in currency.

Police also found drug paraphernalia, including a scale, stamp bags for packaging heroin, cell phones and a stamper with an ink pad.

Drayton will serve five years of state probation in addition to his incarceration time.

Job Franks and Michael Williams were also arrested during that same bust.
