Man Rushed To Hospital After Being Hit By Bus
MURRYSVILLE (KDKA) -- An unidentified 21-year-old man was struck by a Myers Coach Lines bus Wednesday night, as he and a female companion were walking along the Old William Penn Highway in Murrysville.
The man was semi-conscious when first responders arrived. He was taken to Forbes Hospital in Monroeville. The woman he was with was not injured.
The bus, which was empty at the time, was headed to a nearby bus garage when the accident occurred. The mishap took place in a residential neighborhood; police say the bus driver will undergo blood tests for drugs or alcohol.
No charges have been filed.
The injured man's condition has not been released.
