Man Robs Marathon At Gunpoint, Steals Cigarettes And Cash

GROVE CITY (KDKA) -- State police are searching for a man who robbed a Marathon service station at gunpoint.

It happened Tuesday around 1 a.m. at the Marathon on Center Street Extension in Grove City.

Authorities say the suspect walked into the business and displayed a handgun to the clerk.

He escaped with a carton of cigarettes and an undisclosed amount of cash.

He then got into a vehicle and fled west on State Route 208.

The suspect is described as a man standing 5'7'', weighing around 250 pounds, in his late 20s to early 30s with buzzed light hair.
