Man Rescued After Falling Into Connoquenessing Creek While Kayaking

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A man is safe after falling into the Connoquenessing Creek while kayaking.

Officials say that the man and his wife were celebrating their anniversary while kayaking.

However, Saturday afternoon, his kayak flipped and he fell into the creek.

It took over an hour for his wife to call for help because of the terrain.

Eventually, crews found the man and his dog on the banks of the creek.
