One Rescued After Falling From Waterfall

LAWRENCE COUNTY (KDKA) -- Rescue crews pulled a man from the water after he fell from the Quaker Falls waterfall Tuesday afternoon.

The incident happened shortly after 4 p.m. at the waterfall in Mahoning Township.

According to friends of the victim, he fell about 10 feet from the waterfall, hit a tree trunk and then hit his head on a rock.

The victim was flown to a Youngstown hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown.
