Man Pleads Guilty After Violent Incident In Manor Borough Home

GREENSBURG (KDKA) -- A Westmoreland County man accused of pointing a gun at his mother and opening fire in his own home is likely going to jail.

Mark Crouse was in court Tuesday for a preliminary hearing; instead, he pleaded guilty and agreed to face more jail time.

Authorities say Crouse has an extensive criminal history.

Police say Crouse fired several shots inside of his mother's Manor Borough home while she and his pregnant wife were inside.

One of the bullets narrowly missed his young son who was playing outside.

Crouse will face formal sentencing in May.

He could face anywhere from two-and-a-half to five years in jail depending on the final plea agreement.
