Missing Elderly Man Found Safe In Rostraver Township

ROSTRAVER TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- An elderly man who was reported missing in Rostraver Township has been found safe.

Westmoreland County emergency dispatchers said early Thursday afternoon that an elderly man had not been seen for several hours after he went out for his daily morning walk at the Great Allegheny Passage trail in Rostraver Township.

Police and medics were sent to the scene to search the area.

The man was found safe in a woody area a bit off the trail Thursday evening.
