Man Leads Police On Chase In Hanover Twp., Crashes Car

HANOVER TWP. (KDKA) - A man crashed his car after leading police on a chase through Hanover Township.

State police say it happened on Feb. 8 around 9 p.m.

According to a report, Roy C. Jones II, 31, led police on chase along PA-18 with Carrie Martin, 26, in the passenger seat of a Jeep Liberty.

Officers say it was initiated on PA-18 near the First Niagara Pavilion, and the chase continued for around ten miles until Jones crashed his car.

He was not hurt, but Martin was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

Jones was charged with attempting to elude a police officer.
