Man Injured In East Hills Shooting, Suspect Turns In Self

EAST HILLS (KDKA) – Police are investigating after a man was shot in the East Hills early Tuesday morning.

According to police, the shooting happened around 5 a.m. in the 2200 block of Wilner Drive.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 37-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital and was last listed in stable condition.

The incident allegedly began as an argument between the victim and a 26-year-old male. The suspect fled the scene, but later turned himself in at the Zone 5 police station.

The suspect's name has not been released at this time.
