Man In Serious Condition After Knoxville Shooting

KNOXVILLE (KDKA) -- Police are investigating a non-fatal shooting in Knoxville that occurred Saturday afternoon.

Police say around 2 p.m., a man was shot in the leg near the intersection of Marland Street and Ibis Way.

The victim was transported to UPMC Mercy in serious condition, but paramedics say he was conscious and alert.

Police say they are following various leads.
