Man Arrested For Assault In Big Mac Dispute

UNION TOWNSHIP (KDKA) – A Washington County man is facing charges after allegedly assaulting another man who didn't save him a Big Mac.

According to the Observer-Reporter, the incident happened inside a home in the 6000-block of Pleasant Street in Union Township.

Thomas Veres, 47, returned home and assaulted Matthew Veres, 58, because he had eaten three Big Macs.

Thomas also allegedly knocked over furniture and threw food during the ordeal.

According to court records, Thomas Veres is facing charges of simple assault and harassment.

He is being held in the Washington County Jail on $2,500 bond.
