Police: Man Drove Car With Man Clinging To Hood Through Seven Towns

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A man was arrested this weekend after police say he tried to run over another man and then drove several miles through seven towns with the guy clinging to the hood of his car.

Police say 46-year-old Dwayne Harvard got into an argument with the man yesterday evening in Springdale Township.

He then got in his car and tried to run the man over.

Harvard and his girlfriend say the man had a knife. Harvard also says he was afraid the man might shoot him if he stopped driving.

The victim was able to hang onto the hood and Harvard took off.

Police say he drove through Harmar, then got on Route 28 and drove all the way to Harrison, where police pulled him over.
