Choral Flash Mob Surprises Shoppers At Local Mall

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP (KDKA) -- Members of some local singing groups teamed up for a choral flash mob at a local mall Tuesday night.

More than 100 singers from the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale, the Washington & Jefferson College Choir and individuals from local church choirs sang the "Hallelujah Chorus" at the Mall at Robinson.

Susan Medley, the music director of the Pittsburgh Concert Chorale and the director of choirs at Washington & Jefferson College, organized the flash mob.

"We just thought it would be fun to share our voices for the holidays and surprise some of the shoppers out here," Medley said. "This is our way of saying 'happy holidays' to everybody here in the Pittsburgh area."
