Malkin, Hornqvist Confident Pens Are Coming Home For Game 7

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) - With an overtime loss in Game 5, the Pittsburgh Penguins find themselves on the brink of elimination.

Tyler Johnson's goal 53 seconds into overtime gave the Lightning a 3-2 series lead Sunday night.

Now, the Penguins are faced with a must-win situation on the road in Tampa tomorrow night in order to force a Game 7.

It's a daunting task, but Evgeni Malkin is feeling confident about his team's chances.

Those feelings are echoed by Patric Hornqvist.

From injuries to a coaching change and so much more, the Penguins have battled adversity all season. Head coach Mike Sullivan said the Penguins will draw on those experiences heading into Game 6.

Of course, the big question is which goaltender will get the nod in this do-or-die game.

The Penguins rode the hot play of Matt Murray to reach the Conference Finals. After allowing four goals in Game 4, Murray was replaced by Marc-Andre Fleury for the third period.

After the switch, the Penguins nearly erased the four-goal deficit. As a result, Fleury was given the start in Game 5 and was admittedly "rusty."

Sullivan said he will name a Game 6 starter on Tuesday.

While we wait for Sullivan's decision, we want to know who you would start in Game 6. Vote in our poll below.
