Main Break Sends Water Pouring Down Hill In Castle Shannon

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- Crews are struggling in freezing temperatures to repair a water main break in Castle Shannon.

Friday morning the water was seen flowing from Homehurst Avenue, down the hillside onto Kingwood Street, then down the hillside into the into a creek along Route 88 near the Royal Place Restaurant.

Two homes were damaged.

One viewer described it as a "small Niagara Falls."
