Local Woman Surprised By What She Finds After Searches For Biological Family On Facebook

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- A local woman is crediting Facebook with helping her find two sisters she had never met before.

Nicholle Oliver of Houston, Washington County, was adopted three months after she was born.

Her adoptive parents are gone now, and recently, she posted a picture of herself on Facebook.
Beside her in the photo is a message asking for help finding her birth mom.

It went viral. She says the post was shared more than 5,000 times.

She quickly began getting information. She learned that while her mom had passed away, she had two sisters in Ohio.

Over the weekend, she met Rosie Franklin for the very first time. Franklin ran up from behind and gave her a hug.

Later, she met her second sister, Dolly.

She says the three immediately hit it off, and they plan on getting together again soon.

"I have this huge hole filled that I never thought could be filled," Nicholle said. "It's crazy."
