Local Restaurant So Confident Penguins Will Win, They'll Bet Your Meal On It
PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – How confident is one Monroeville restaurant the Pittsburgh Penguins will win game 7 of the Eastern Conference finals? They're willing to bet your meal on it.
Our news partners at the Post-Gazette report that Bella Luna Trattoria is offering refunds on all non-alcoholic purchases if the Penguins don't beat the Tampa Bay Lightning Thursday night.
The promotion lasts all day, and if the Penguins do lose, customers can bring in their receipt by June 2 and receive a refund for the price of their food.
Restaurant manager Kurt Schuetz told the PG, "This is the first time that I've been experiencing any promotion quite like this."
