Along with the humanitarian organization Brave Tide, the organizations flew the six retired greyhounds from Tampa, Florida, to Pittsburgh.

Joe Kubiak a Representative with GPA-THREE Rivers Greyhound said, "The retired greyhounds in Florida and other racing states remain in adoption kennels until they are adopted directly into forever homes, or are to be relocated to other adoption groups such as GPA-TAMPA relocated these 6 to Pennsylvania for adoptions here."
